About Chris Colclough

Hello all and welcome to my Photography Page. I'm a keen amateur photographer and love to be out with my camera. I work for a freight forwarding company driving one of their 7.5 tonne trucks around the Midlands and North Wales. I try to take my camera with me when ever I am out on the road as I see some of the wonderful scenery this country has to offer.

Not only do I enjoy Landscape photography but love capturing Candid Portraits and Scenes.Cameras used are a Nikon D5000 and recently a Nikon D7000 with a Nikon 18 - 105mm f3.5/5.6 Nikkor AFS DX lens and Nikon 28 - 300mm F3.5 - 5.6 AFS G ED lens for most of my shots, although I will also use my Samsung pocket camera when at a concert or out on the town. I shoot mainly in RAW format and convert to JPEG using Adobe Photoshop CS6 to process the images. I try not to use too much after shot processing though sometimes a tweak here and there with maybe some effect used is not too bad.

Along with my photography I am a active Radio Amateur and Fisherman, so some photos will include my friends and myself playing radio or fishing.
